Fun Fact: In the Middle Ages, clergy wore blue sapphires to symbolize heaven, and warriors wore them for protection in battle. One of the most famous sapphires in the world is Princess Diana's engagement ring, which now belongs to Kate Middleton.

Fun Fact: In Greek mythology, asters were believed to be tears of the goddess Astraea, who wept when she saw too few stars in the night sky.
Meaning: Morning glories are associated with love, affection, and unfulfilled longing since their blossoms are beautiful but fleeting. They also symbolize resilience because they bloom quickly even in tough conditions.
Appearance: Morning glories are most often blue or purple, but can also be found in pink, red and white. Their petals unfurl in the morning sun and curl up by late afternoon.
Fun Fact: In Victorian times, they symbolized unrequited or unfulfilled love due to their short lifespan.
